32-2-1214 . Hearings -- decision -- review, modification, termination, or stay of orders.

(1)A hearing provided for in this part must be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Montana Administrative Procedure Act. The hearing must be private unless the commissioner, after fully considering the views of the party afforded the hearing, determines that a public hearing is necessary to protect the public interest. Within 90 days after the case has been submitted for final decision, the hearings examiner shall render a decision, which must include findings of fact on which the decision is based. The commissioner shall comply with 2-4-623 and issue and serve on each party to the proceeding an order consistent with the provisions of this section.
