33-17-1207 . Funding for continuing education program. All continuing education filing fees collected by the commissioner and fees paid to the commissioner for the review of initial applications for approval of continuing education courses or the periodic review of these courses must be turned over promptly to the state treasurer who shall place the money in the state special revenue fund to the credit of the state auditor's office to be used for the continuing education program. The funds allocated by this section to the state special revenue fund may be used only to defray the expenses of the state auditor's office in discharging its duties as prescribed by this part, subject to the applicable laws relating to the appropriation of state funds and to the deposit and expenditure of state m
