76-16-302 . Membership in state district.

(1)Membership in a state district is limited to persons engaged in the livestock business who own or lease forage-producing lands within or near the state district, except that the agent of a person entitled to membership in the state district may become a member in place of the agent's principal.
(2)If an agent becomes a member, the agent's qualifications for membership and the agent's obligations to and the privileges in the state district must be measured by those that the agent's principal would have had if the principal had elected to become a member.
