75-15-222 . Rules governing screening.
(1)The department of transportation may adopt rules governing the materials to be used in and the location, planting, construction, and maintenance of screening or fencing required by this part.
(2)The department of transportation may determine that in the best interests of the state, screening in addition to that required by rules of the department of transportation as of July 1, 1979, is required of certain junkyards or motor vehicle wrecking facilities licensed under this title. The cost of any additional screening shall be borne or reimbursed by the department of transportation.
