§ 7-15-4451 — General Powers Of Housing Authority

7-15-4451 . General powers of housing authority.

(1)An authority shall exercise public powers and have all the powers necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of this part and part 45, including the following powers in addition to others herein granted.
(2)An authority shall have power to:
(a)sue and be sued;
(b)have a seal and alter the same at pleasure;
(c)have perpetual succession;
(d)make and execute contracts and other instruments necessary or convenient to the exercise of the powers of the authority;
(e)make and from time to time amend and repeal bylaws and rules, not inconsistent with this part and part 45, to carry into effect the powers and purposes of the authority.
(3)In addition to all of the other powers herein conferred upon it,
