2-15-602 . Deputy state auditor.

(1)The state auditor shall appoint a deputy who in the absence of the principal or in the case of vacancy in the office of state auditor shall perform all the duties of the office until the disability is removed or the vacancy is filled.
(2)The deputy shall subscribe, take, and file the oath of office provided by law for other state officers before entering upon the performance of the duties.
