§ 2-15-221 — Governor-Elect -- Staff And Services Provided

2-15-221 . Governor-elect -- staff and services provided.

(1)As used in this section, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, "governor-elect" means the person elected at a general election to the office of governor who is not the incumbent governor.
(2)The department of administration shall provide the governor-elect and the governor-elect's necessary staff with suitable office space in the capitol building, together with furnishings, supplies, equipment, and telephone service for the period between the general election and the inauguration.
(3)The governor-elect may obtain the assistance of persons of the governor-elect's own choosing, between the general election and inauguration, and they must receive reasonable compensation for their services. These persons are state employ
