7-14-4616 . Termination of parking commission due to inaction -- windup of commission affairs.
(1)After the lapse of 4 years from the date of adoption of a resolution declaring the need for a parking commission to function in a city, if such commission shall not have acquired or entered into possession of land for a parking facility or issued bonds, the legislative body of such city may by resolution declare that there is no need for such commission in the community. Thereupon the offices of the members of the commission shall become vacant and the capacity of the commission to transact business or exercise any powers shall be suspended and shall remain suspended until the legislative body thereafter adopts a resolution declaring the need for the commission to function.
