7-14-2807 . Tax levy for public ferry -- combined ferry and bridge fund.
(1)Subject to 15-10-420 , if a county owns or operates a public ferry, the board of county commissioners may levy a tax on the taxable value of all taxable property of the county for the purpose of constructing, maintaining, and repairing public ferries.
(2)The board may combine the revenue from the tax authorized in this section with revenue from taxes to support bridges as provided in 7-14-2502 .
