7-12-4243 . Procedure to create and maintain supplemental revolving fund -- election required -- qualified electors defined.

(1)(a) A supplemental revolving fund may be created by ordinance, subject to the approval of a majority of the qualified electors voting at an election held in accordance with Title 13, chapter 1, part 5.
(b)As used in 7-12-4241 through 7-12-4258 , "qualified electors" means registered electors of the municipality.
(2)The supplemental revolving fund must be created and maintained solely from the net revenue of parking meters. The ordinance may pledge to the revolving fund all or any part of the net revenue of parking meters owned, leased, rented, or acquired by the city or town.
