7-12-4184 . Reinstatement of delinquent assessment.

(1)Whenever any special assessment or installment is delinquent, is declared to be delinquent by appropriate resolution of the city or town council, and is certified to the county clerk and county treasurer for collection as provided in this part, the city or town council may, nevertheless, at its option, by appropriate resolution, order the delinquent assessment to be withdrawn from the county treasurer, canceled from the county treasurer's records and proceedings, and reinstated in the office of the city treasurer and on the property tax record upon the payment to the city treasurer of the assessment or the installment and interest up to date.
