7-12-2125 . Right to protest dissolution of district.

(1)(a) Except as provided in subsection (1)(b), any owner of property liable for the assessments within the district may make written protest against the dissolution of the district at any time within 30 days of the date of first publication of the notice of passage of a resolution of intention to dissolve the district as provided in 7-12-2124 (4). The protest must be in writing, identify the property in the district owned by the protestor, and, except as provided in 7-12-2141 , be signed by all owners of the property. The protest must be delivered to the county clerk who shall endorse on the protest document the date of its receipt by the county clerk.
