30-12-211 . Duty of owners of incorrect apparatus.
(1)Weights and measures that have been rejected under the authority of the department remain subject to the control of the department until suitable repair or disposition of them has been made as required by this section.
(2)The owner of rejected weights and measures shall correct them within 30 days or a longer period that may be authorized by the department.
(3)Instead of correction, the owner may dispose of the weights and measures, but only in a manner specifically authorized by the department.
(4)Weights and measures that have been rejected may not again be used commercially until they have been officially reexamined and found to be correct, until specific written permission for that use is issued by the department, or until the r
