61-10-212 . Temporary trip permits showing payment of fees -- display.

(1)Temporary trip permits showing payment of the fees provided for in 61-10-211 shall be issued under rules prescribed by the department. The permit shall be displayed in the vehicle for which the fee has been paid at all times while the vehicle is being operated on the highways of this state by posting it where it may be read.
(2)The department may limit the operation of the vehicle in this state to a definite period of time.
