30-10-208 . Consent to service of process -- manner of service.
(1)Every applicant for registration as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, salesperson, or investment adviser representative under parts 1 through 3 of this chapter and every issuer that proposes to register and offer a security in this state through any person acting on an agency basis in the common-law sense shall file with the commissioner, in a form that the commissioner prescribes, an irrevocable consent appointing the commissioner and the commissioner's successors in office to be the attorney of the applicant to receive service of any lawful process in any noncriminal suit, action, or proceeding against the applicant or the applicant's successor, executor, or administrator that arises under parts 1 through 3 of this ch
