32-1-504 . Deposits in insolvent bank.

(1)Except as otherwise provided by the Uniform Commercial Code, whenever any bank shall be insolvent in the manner described and set forth in this chapter, such bank shall not accept or receive on deposit any money, bank bills or notes, United States treasury notes or currency, or other notes, bills, or drafts circulating as money or currency or transact any other business in connection with its operations, except as trustee for the depositors and parties transacting business with them, and it or they shall keep all such deposits of money, bills or notes, or United States treasury notes or currency, or other notes, bills, or drafts circulating as money or currency separate and apart from the general assets of the bank from and after the date of the a
