1.In addition to the duties imposed by section 99.100 , no housing authority in any city with a population of four hundred thousand or more inhabitants, and whose jurisdiction covers more than one county, shall rent or lease accommodations to any person who, within the preceding five years, has been convicted of a crime involving prostitution or the possession or sale of controlled substances listed in schedule I and II of section 195.017 , or whose dwelling unit is known to have been the site of crimes involving prostitution or the possession or sale of controlled substances listed in schedule I and II of section 195.017 .
