1.Required training courses for certification under section 643.225 shall first be accredited by the state. To be accredited, training programs shall meet the training certification and recertification requirements for each specialty area outlined in the United States EPA's model accreditation plan, 40 CFR Part 763, including passage of a course examination for these courses, and the certification requirements for air sampling professionals outlined in section 643.225 . Such accreditation shall be obtained biennially. A representative of the department or the department of health and senior services shall be permitted to attend, monitor and evaluate any training program without charge to the state.
