Text

1.  Any person suspected to have an intellectual disability or developmental disability shall be eligible for initial diagnostic and counseling services through the regional centers. 2.  If it is determined by a regional center through a comprehensive evaluation that a person has an intellectual disability or a developmental disability so as to require the provision of services, and if such person, such person's parent, if the person is a minor, or legal guardian, requests that he be registered as a client of a regional center, the regional center shall, within the limits of available resources, secure a comprehensive program of any necessary services for such person.  Such services may include, but need not be limited to, the following:

(1)Diagnosis and evaluation;
(2)Counseling;
