If the head of the alcohol or drug abuse facility finds that a person who is detained for treatment and rehabilitation is presenting a likelihood of serious harm as a result of mental disorder other than alcohol or drug abuse, or both, the head of the facility shall arrange for the transfer of the person to a mental health facility through a licensed physician, registered professional nurse, qualified counselor or mental health professional designated by the mental health facility.  The person may be detained for up to ninety-six hours for evaluation and treatment, under the procedures of sections 632.310 , 632.315 , 632.320 and 632.325 , before filing a petition for further detention under sections 632.330 and 632.335 .
