Text
1.No person or governmental unit, acting separately or jointly with any other person or governmental unit, shall establish, conduct or maintain any residential facility in this state for the care, treatment, habilitation or rehabilitation of persons with an intellectual disability or a developmental disability without a valid license issued by the department. Licenses in effect on August 13, 1982, shall continue in effect until they regularly expire unless sooner revoked; except that in no case shall a license continue in effect beyond one year after August 13, 1982.
2.After October 1, 1983, no person or governmental unit, acting separately or jointly with any other person or governmental unit, shall establish, conduct or maintain any residential facility or day program in this state
