Text

1.  At the time of admission, either on a voluntary or involuntary basis, a mental health facility or mental health program in which people may be civilly detained pursuant to chapter 632 , or a residential facility or day program operated, funded or licensed by the department shall give each patient, resident or client written information which sets forth, in lay language, the following:

(1)A description of the facility, its services and its costs;
(2)Information as to how to seek conditional release or discharge;
(3)A statement of rights assured by this chapter or the department in its rules and regulations;
