Text

1.There is hereby established in the state treasury the "Services to Victims Fund" which shall consist of money collected pursuant to section 595.045 .  The fund shall be administered by the department of public safety.  Upon appropriation, money in the fund shall be used solely for the administration of sections 595.050 , 595.055 and 595.105 , except that public or private agencies, as defined by section 595.050 , shall use no more than ten percent of any funds received for administrative purposes.
2.Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080 , any balance remaining in the fund at the end of an appropriation period shall not be transferred to general revenue, but shall remain in the fund.
