Text

1.Upon request and payment of the required fee, the sheriff shall issue a concealed carry permit that is valid through the state of Missouri for the lifetime of the permit holder to a Missouri resident who meets the requirements of sections 571.205 to 571.230 , known as a Missouri lifetime concealed carry permit.  A person may also request, and the sheriff shall issue upon payment of the required fee, a concealed carry permit that is valid through the state of Missouri for a period of either ten years or twenty-five years from the date of issuance or renewal to a Missouri resident who meets the requirements of sections 571.205 to 571.230 .  Such permit shall be known as a Missouri extended concealed carry permit.  A person issued a Missouri lifetime or extended concealed carry permit sha
