Text
In assigning dower and making partition under this chapter, the commissioners shall divide the lands and tenements, and allot the several portions and shares thereof to the respective parties, quantity and quality relatively considered by them; and where the lands are in detached parcels or otherwise, the dower estate, if any, shall be set apart in one body, as near as practicable.
