§ 50.338 — Compensation for loss of commissions by reduction of school operating levy, loss offset procedure.

1.In the event the reduction in the operating levy made by a school district pursuant to sections 144.700 , 144.701 , and 164.013 causes a loss of compensation to any county or township officials, such officials shall retain, from that school district's property tax collections, an amount sufficient to offset such loss of compensation, in addition to other compensation permitted by law.
2.In the event the reduction in the operating levy made by a school district pursuant to sections 144.700 , 144.701 , and 164.013 causes a loss of revenue to any county or township fund, an amount sufficient to offset such loss shall be retained from that school district's property tax collections and deposited to the credit of the appropriate fund.
