Text

1.  In notarizing an electronic document, the remote online notary shall attach to, or logically associate with, the remote online notarial certificate a registered electronic signature and a registered electronic notary seal, or a registered single element in conformity with subsection 2 of this section, in such a manner that the signature and the seal, or the single element, are attributed to the electronic notary as named on the commission. 2.  A registered electronic signature shall be:

(1)Unique to the electronic notary;
(2)Capable of independent verification;
