Text

1.  A remote online notary public shall perform a remote online notarization authorized in sections 486.1100 to 486.1205 only while the remote online notary public is physically located within this state. 2.  A remote online notary public may perform a remote online notarization for a remotely located individual who is physically located:

(1)In this state;
(2)Outside this state but within the United States; or
(3)Outside the United States if the electronic notarization is not prohibited in the jurisdiction in which the principal is physically located at the time of the remote online notarial act. 3.  The validity of a remote online notarization performed by a remote online notary public of this state in accordance with sections 486.1100 to 486.1205 shall be governed by the laws
