Text

1.Within ten days after making a sale, mortgage or lease of real estate, the executor or administrator shall make a full report of his proceedings, with the certificate of appraisement if a new appraisement is required by the court, and a copy of the advertisement, if a public sale, which report shall be verified by affidavit that he did not, directly or indirectly, purchase the real estate or any part thereof, or any interest therein, and that he is not interested in the property sold except as stated in the report.  If the written consent of distributees to the purchase by the executor or administrator is filed as provided by section 473.477 the affidavit is not required.  The report of sale shall remain on file ten days before being acted upon by the court.
