Text
When any personal or real property is valueless, or is so encumbered, or is in such condition that it is of no benefit to the estate, the court may by order authorize the personal representative to make such disposition thereof as the court may find to be appropriate, including, where appropriate, the immediate distribution thereof to the heirs or legatees, the abandonment, giving away or destruction thereof, the relinquishment of all interest of the estate therein, or such other disposition as may be appropriate in the circumstances.
