Text
When the personal representative of the mortgagor or debtor has been duly summoned, or appears to the action, the judgment, if for the plaintiff, shall be as before directed; and if, in such case, the mortgaged property or collateral be insufficient to satisfy the debt and damages, or damages and costs, the judgment, as to the residue, shall have the effect of a judgment against an executor or administrator, as such.
