Text
The director of the division of finance shall have full power and authority at any time and as often as reasonably necessary to investigate and examine the books, records, and papers of any lender making second mortgage loans pursuant to this act * , and may compel the production of all relevant books, records, accounts, and documents with respect to loans made under sections 408.231 to 408.241 . Provided, however, this section shall not apply to those corporations whose powers emanate from the laws of the United States and those which are subject to the divisions of credit unions and finance.
