Text

1.Any person who willfully and knowingly engages in unlawful subleasing of a motor vehicle, as defined in section 407.742 , shall be guilty of a class E felony.  It shall be the duty of each prosecuting attorney and circuit attorney in their respective jurisdictions to commence any criminal actions under sections 407.738 to 407.745 , and the attorney general shall have concurrent original jurisdiction to commence such criminal actions throughout the state where such violations have occurred.
2.Whenever it appears to the attorney general that a person has engaged in, is engaging in, or is about to engage in unlawful subleasing of a motor vehicle, he may bring an action pursuant to section 407.100 for an injunction prohibiting such person from continuing such methods, uses, acts, or pra
