Text
Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a court may enhance the sentence for any person convicted of violating section 407.516 , 407.521 , 407.526 , 407.536 , 407.542 or 407.543 who has a prior conviction for any one of the aforegoing sections to a fine and to a time of imprisonment within the department of corrections for a term not to exceed that otherwise authorized by law for violation of a class E felony.
