Text

1.  Sections 375.950 to 375.990 may be cited as the "Uniform Insurer's Liquidation Act". 2.  Sections 375.950 to 375.990 shall apply only to proceedings instituted prior to August 28, 1991. 3.  For the purposes of sections 375.950 to 375.990 :

(1)"Ancillary state" means any state other than a domiciliary state;
(2)"Delinquency proceeding" means any proceeding commenced against an insurer for the purpose of liquidating, rehabilitating, reorganizing, or conserving such insurer;
(3)"Domiciliary state" means the state in which an insurer is incorporated or organized, or, in the case of an alien insurer, the state in which such insurer, having become authorized to do business in such state, has, at the commencement of delinquency proceedings, the largest amount of its assets held in tru
