The corporate existence of the merging corporation or corporations shall be merged into that of receiving bank or trust company, or in the event of consolidation the corporate existence of the consolidating companies shall be merged into that of the consolidated bank or trust company; and all and singular the rights, privileges and franchises, and the rights, title and interest in and to all property of whatsoever kind, whether real, personal or mixed, and things in action, and every right, privilege, interest or asset of conceivable value or benefit then existing to which any of the corporations so merging or consolidating shall be entitled at law or in equity shall be fully and finally and without any right of reversion transferred to and vested in the receiving bank or trust company in
