Notwithstanding any of the provisions of sections 334.400 to 334.430 , the board may issue a temporary license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant to an applicant that has taken the examination and is awaiting the results.  A temporary license may be granted upon the payment of a temporary license fee, the submission of all required documents, and the applicant meeting the necessary qualifications, as defined by board rule.  The temporary license shall be valid until the results of the examination are announced.  The temporary license may be renewed at the discretion of the board and upon payment of the temporary license fee.
