Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of law or rule of confidentiality to the contrary, any physician licensed under this chapter who treats a person who appears intoxicated, for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, may immediately report same to a highway patrol officer or local law enforcement agency.
