The board shall conduct all examinations, determine which applicants have successfully passed the examinations and recommend each such applicant to the division for licensure as a professional landscape architect.  The board may obtain the services of specially trained and qualified persons or organizations to assist in conducting examinations of applicants for licensure.  Certification of an applicant's technical qualifications by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) may be accepted by this state's board as establishing such qualifications and the applicant shall not be required to pass any further examination.
