Text

1.For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this chapter and the liquor control law, the governor, by and with the advice and consent of the senate, shall appoint some suitable person of good moral character over the age of thirty years, who has been a qualified elector in the state of Missouri for at least five years next before the date of his appointment, as supervisor of liquor control.  The supervisor of liquor control shall serve at the pleasure and under the supervision and direction of the governor.
2.The supervisor of liquor control shall devote his entire time to the duties of his office and, with the approval of the governor, appoint and employ all agents, assistants, deputies, inspectors and employees necessary for the proper enforcement and administration of the p
