Text

1.  Any person or his agent licensed or registered as a manufacturer, motor vehicle dealer, wholesale motor vehicle dealer, boat dealer, wholesale motor vehicle auction or a public motor vehicle auction pursuant to the provisions of sections 301.550 to 301.580 shall permit an employee of the department of revenue or any law enforcement official to inspect, during normal business hours, any of the following documents which are in his possession or under his custody or control:

(1)Any title to any motor vehicle or vessel;
(2)Any application for title to any motor vehicle or vessel;
(3)Any affidavit provided pursuant to sections 301.550 to 301.580 or chapter 407 ;
(4)Any assignment of title to any motor vehicle or vessel;
(5)Any disclosure statement or other document relating t
