Text

1.Any vehicle owner, after an annual contribution to the Missouri Travel Council, may receive special license plates commemorating the bicentennial anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition for any motor vehicle the member owns, either solely or jointly, other than an apportioned motor vehicle or a commercial motor vehicle licensed in excess of twenty-four thousand pounds gross weight.  The Missouri Travel Council, in conjunction with the department of revenue, shall design the Lewis and Clark bicentennial special license plate.  The background of the plate shall depict a full-color image, covering the entire plate, and lightened across two-thirds of the area so as not to hinder the readability of the license plate registration number.  Such license plates shall be made with fully re
