Text

1.Any vehicle owner may apply for "God Bless America" license plates for any motor vehicle the person owns, either solely or jointly, other than an apportioned motor vehicle or a commercial motor vehicle licensed in excess of twenty-four thousand pounds gross weight.  Upon making a ten dollar contribution to the World War I memorial trust fund the vehicle owner may apply for the "God Bless America" plate.  If the contribution is made directly to the Missouri veterans' commission they shall issue the individual making the contribution a receipt, verifying the contribution, that may be used to apply for the "God Bless America" license plate.  If the contribution is made directly to the director of revenue pursuant to section 301.3031 , the director shall note the contribution and the owner
