Text

1.Any person who wishes to pay tribute to the disaster relief efforts made in the aftermath of the events of September 11, 2001, may apply for special license plates as prescribed by this section for any motor vehicle such person owns, either solely or jointly, other than an apportioned motor vehicle or a commercial motor vehicle licensed in excess of twenty-four thousand pounds gross weight, after payment of an annual contribution to the American Red Cross.  Any contribution to the American Red Cross derived from this section, except reasonable administrative costs, shall be deposited in and used solely for the purposes of the Missouri state service delivery area single family disaster fund.  Any person may annually apply for such special license plates.
