Text

1.The "Chemical Emergency Preparedness Fund" is hereby established.  Funds appropriated under section 292.604 , private donations, federal grants, contracts, and other funds provided to the commission and the department for distribution as provided in section 292.604 shall be placed in the chemical emergency preparedness fund.  Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080 to the contrary, funds in the chemical emergency preparedness fund shall not revert to the general revenue fund.  Interest accruing to the fund shall be part of the fund.
2.The chemical emergency preparedness fund shall, upon appropriation, be used to implement the provisions of sections 292.600 to 292.625 .
