Any law to the contrary notwithstanding, a child, as defined in subdivision (1) of section 294.011 , may perform agriculture work, as defined in subdivision (1) of section 290.500 , on a farm owned and operated by the child's parent, sibling, grandparent or sibling of a parent or, if performed by the child with the knowledge and consent of the child's parent, on any family farm, as defined in subdivision (4) of section 350.010 , or on any family farm corporation, as defined in subdivision (5) of section 350.010 , including work that would otherwise be prohibited by subdivisions (1), (2), (3), (7), and (12) of section 294.040 ; but no such child shall be permitted to engage in any other activities prohibited by section 294.040 .
