The county commission of any county in this state, authorized by law to sell and make title to bona fide purchasers to any swamp and overflowed lands granted by the state to the county for the purposes of reclamation, shall, by an order of record, upon sufficient proof being made by the owner of any swamp and overflowed lands undertaken to be sold, that an error has been made in the description of such lands, correct such error or misdescription wherever it occurs, whether in record of entry, certificate of purchase, patent, or the record thereof; provided, such correction shall not prejudice the rights of other parties.
