The portion of Interstate 44 located in Franklin County from the Highway 100 overpass west to the St. Mary's Road overpass shall be designated as the "Mo. Hwy. Patrolman Corporal Dennis E. Engelhard Memorial Highway". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid for by private donations.
