The bridge on State Highway 34, also known as South Main Street, crossing over the Makenzie Creek in Wayne County shall be designated as "WW II POW Alex Cortez Memorial Bridge".  The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such bridge, with the costs to be paid by private donations.
