Text

1.For the purposes of assisting in the planning, acquisition, development and construction of transportation facilities other than highways in this state, there is hereby created in the state treasury a fund known as the "State Transportation Assistance Revolving Fund".  The fund shall receive all moneys which may be appropriated or otherwise credited to it by the general assembly and shall also receive any gifts, contributions, grants or bequests received from federal, private or other sources.
2.The state transportation assistance revolving fund shall be administered by the state highways and transportation commission which shall have the power to loan moneys in the fund to any political subdivision of the state or to any public or private not-for-profit organization or entity for:
